Our church engages the community through practical service, hospitality, and seasonal events that build relationships, meet real needs, and share God’s love with neighbors of all ages.

Serving Our Community’s Daily Needs

Soul Soup

Soul Soup serves 120 to 160 meals every Thursday night and provides 160 takeout burritos on the third Sunday of each month, offering a consistent place of warmth, nourishment, and care for neighbors who need a good meal and a welcoming community.

Sewing Center

Partners with Tri-Cities Community Connections to provide community and economic empowerment, especially for women, through sewing classes taught in Spanish, English, and other languages as needed. Meets in our building on Saturdays.

Goods Collections

Helps feed the hungry through Tri-Cities Food Bank & Second Harvest, support refugees through Tri-Cities World Relief with household goods & warm clothes, and support school students with school supplies and food.

Piecemakers

Our Piecemakers sew simple quilts to give children in need a warm, cuddly blanket. These quilts are donated to the Safe Harbor Crisis Nursery, Salvation Army. Tri-Tech Skills Center, Tri City Union Gospel Mission, Toys for Tots and Project Linus. They are eager to have new volunteers and no experience is necessary!

Join them on the second Wednesday every month from 10:00am to Noon at the church.

Please contact Phyllis Merrill for more details.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry knits warm and beautiful throws for those going through difficult times. The shawls are designed to be given to people providing comfort in joy or sorrow. Each shawl is prayed over as it is being made to bless the receiver; it is God’s arms around them. We welcome new members and will teach you how to knit!

Meetings are the first Saturday of every month in the church entry.
