Welcome to Kennewick FUMC
Our church is a place of hospitality and compassion.
All are welcome! Come join us as we listen to God’s word and share his love with one another.
We follow God’s love with curiosity and compassion, honoring every story and every journey. Here, you’re not just visiting, you’re part of the family.

What to Expect
Sunday mornings are a meaningful time to gather, worship, and reconnect with God and one another. Whether you are new or returning, you will find a welcoming community and a rhythm of worship that speaks to real life with honesty and hope.
Entering the Church
Our accessible entrance is on the south side of the building just off the parking lot.
A cheerful greeter will welcome you, and the Welcome Desk volunteer can answer questions and guide you to the sanctuary.
Ushers will offer you a bulletin so you can follow along.
Worship Service
We gather for one service on Sundays at 10 AM for 1 hour.
Music is led by volunteers and includes a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs.
Scripture is read, prayers are shared, and the pastor gives a thoughtful message from God’s Word.
Visitor Info
Dress Code: We encourage you to come as you are. You will see everything from jeans to dress clothes.
Offerings: We receive an offering each Sunday as part of our worship, but visitors are not expected to give.
After the Service: Join us for coffee and pastries.
Communion
We celebrate communion on the 1st Sunday of each month, and all are welcome to participate.
Communion is served by intinction: you receive a piece of bread and dip it into the cup, then return to your seat by the side aisle.
Kneelers are available afterward for anyone who wishes to pause for prayer.
Adult Ministries
Change to whatever you want that describes what adults can do during the week. Join us during the week for fellowship and growth in God’s Word. Adults can take part in a quarterly study with practical lessons, a verse-by-verse Bible study, or one of our men’s/women’s groups.
Children’s Program
Children are invited to join a short Children’s Time during the service.
Afterward, they may stay with their parents or go to Activity
Time. Activity Bags are available in the back of the sanctuary for those who remain in worship, and a nursery is open for infants through preschoolers.
