“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” (Romans 12:4-5, NIV)
Mount Olive Baptist Church is a multigenerational family of believers rooted in Stafford County since 1818. Our congregation includes longtime members whose families have worshiped here for generations and newer members who found a home in this church last year. What holds us together is a shared commitment to worship, service, and fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our people show up. They serve on ministry teams, teach Sunday School, prepare meals, visit the sick, mentor young people, and support one another through every season of life. This is a church where your presence matters and your gifts are needed.
How Our Church Family Serves
Mount Olive’s ministries are organized across five pillars, each one led and carried out by members of this congregation. From the choir to the food ministry to prison outreach, the work of this church is done by the people of this church.
